They deceive us a bit with the title of their new EP, Miss Albatross, hailing from Göteborg. “Disco Blues” is the name of the EP, and it doesn’t sound like disco at all, but contains a bunch of great songs with a lot vibes from British rock from the sixties. Charming, catchy, a lovely garage sound and a record I’m going to keep spinning for a while.

Here’s a video premiere today with Pierre Dackmo, whom I wrote about in April. He’s going to release his next song “Du om någon” in the end of July, and as a precursor to the single he’s showing us another part in the “Berlin Sessions” series, songs he recorded acoustic in Berlin last year.

Last year the rock and metal trio Stone Carpet started their project about releasing four EP:s during a year. Each EP contains three tracks and has it’s own character and theme. I told you about the first two parts in August, and now all parts have been published, which all together form the album”Dispositio”, downloadable from their site. Anyone For Tennis? take their time with their debut album. They have now been working with it for three years, but claim now that they are in the final stages before releasing the album. In the Autumn they released the great, post-grungy “Everything Is Falling Down“, and now, about a month ago, another song from the album, “Fairytales Were Killed By Modern Love”. Please help yourselves.

Centimeter , hailing from Stockholm, was formed in 2004 and released their first album “Mellanrum” in 2006. Then they sang in Swedish, but now, tomorrow to be more specific, they released their second album “70” with only English lyrics. A first taste of the album is available, the song “Motorhead”, a piece of pop/rock with a comfortable atmosphere, a little in the direction of Coldplay.
