Det mekaniska undret – “Sockerbruket”

Sockerbruket

We got to know Andreas Österberg and his Det mekaniska undret (“The mechanical wonder”) a couple of years ago, when he composed music for and filmed tram line 11 in Göteborg. Now he’s started a new project which will eventually lead to the album “Industriromantik”. It’s about old industries in Göteborg, large brick brick buildings, silent today, but where we can divine a long history behind these mighty walls. Like with the majestic Sockerbruket (sugar plant) in the image above, which is the object of the first song in the project.

Lissi Dancefloor Disaster – “Waves”

Lissi Dancefloor Disaster

The electro duo Lissi Dancefloor Disaster finally released their debut album “Waves” on February 27th. Some of the songs you’ll recognize from before as they have been released earlier on EP:s and singles, like for example “Kill the Winner” from the Autumn. And the album won’t dissappoint any listeners from before; it’s a solid album from the first track to the last, where they show us a large span from darker dirty indie rock electro to more fintuned pop songs, like in the new “Try”, which you can listen to here below.

Dream Curtain – “Glowing”

Dream Curtain

Here’s another production from Dream Curtain, aka William Hamparsomian. “Glowing” is the name of the song, a song that follows in the tracks of the predecessors with it’s dreamy experimental electronica, maybe this time a little more changing with more surprises around the corners than the earlier songs. He’s definitely carved out his very own sound now, a sound that can be recognized, which is an accomplishment in itself.
