Björns vänner

In Spring I told you about Björns vänner and their comeback, when they released the EP “Märker ni ingenting alls?”as a sample of the forthcoming album. The album “Ni har stulit våra drömmar” was indeed released during the Autumn as promised, and of course I have to play you a couple songs from the record.

Anti Pony – “Cry On the Floor”

November 18, 2014 at 2:33 pm

Anti Pony

The duo Anti Pony, Sanna Colling and Alexander Pierre, recently revealed their first (official) creation, a song called “Cry On the Floor”. It’s psychadelia, it’s the sixties and a very beautiful retro mix. They present the song as being the b-side on a vinyl-single that will be released in December, which alltogether becomes an amusing comment to how completely differently we do things today compared to how things were done back in the days.

Little Children

Here’s a new single from today with Linus Lutti and his Little Children. It’s called “My Only Friend”, a song with strong psychadelia vibes in a sound that feels more and more retro. Great song. I take the opportunity also to show you the music video to “Hey hey”, which was realeased last month, a song that grows with each listen.

Natalie Roots – “Kardia One” – EP

November 17, 2014 at 1:30 pm

Natalie Roots

The three members from the band Same Old Story have made a kind of reboot and resurfaced as the new band Natalie Roots. The foundation is still American punk rock, but it feels like they’ve had an energy injection and that they are ready to go carve out their very own path now, which can be heard in the furious starting track “Kommer vi behöva leva på det här” on their debut EP “Kardia One”. Four songs in English follow, containing the best and most inspired stuff I’ve heard so far from the trio.

The Perfect Mess

Here’s the debut single from The Perfect Mess, hailing from Skövde, a band that consists of Niklas Bohm and Mikko Viitala. The song “There Is Still Time”, a handsome pop track which they build up to arena proportions, is also the first taste of their upcoming debut EP.
