Here’s the band Fjäril with a delicate pop song in Swedish, “Yrväder”. I don’t know much more about the band than that they released a three-track EP in the Autumn with the same title, and that the name of the singer is Filip Brun.

Sara Thuresson, based in Malmö, with her personal, beautiful, piano based folk pop, hasn’t appeared here yet. So I take the opportunity to present her now when she has a new album coming up, “Jag tror det är möjligt”. Well the album is available as a CD already, but I’m waiting for the digital release. Anyway, she has released a few songs, so we can taste the album, among them the duet “Vakna” with Mikael Wiehe from last year, which will now appear on the album. From before you have also the album “Jag säger nu” to enjoy.

I’m happy to see that the duo Old Amica is back with a new EP, “The Burning Dot pt. 1”, which is available on their site. Later they will release a second part also, on the same theme. They write about the EP:

I’ve written before about Tim Pirfält: presenting his solo project Eremitapa and later also the band Tifuos. Now he’s started a new project, the trio Holden C, who released their first EP just before Christmas. I’d say it’s about Kent-melancholic singer/songwriter-pop in Swedish.
