Come On Like Gangbusters

Here’s a nice song from the band Come On Like Gangbusters, “Strangest Island”. Sixties-inspired indie pop, with quite a few vibes from The Kinks. If you like the song I recommend to check out their debut EP, which was released last year, which is just as good, if not better.

Brott och Straff

The electro pop duo Brott och Straff, whom I wrote about in the Autumn, are launching more songs. During 2013 they have the intention of releasing a new song on the 28th every month. Here’s the latest single, “247”, a song about the singer Kim Nilsson’s son Leo.
The cover above is created by the artist Dano Wilhelmsson.

Mire Kay

The duo Mire Kay, that is Emelie Molin and Victoria Skoglund, opened up the door a bit some month ago to their new album “A Rising Tide Lifts All Boats”, which will be released now in March. They did this with the single “Beat”, a verybeautiful, melancholic song, which promises a lot for the album.

Magnus Bergman – “Stjärnfall”

Magnus Bergman

In the Autumn Magnus Bergman launched the excellent album “Ljusspår”, which I wrote about then. As a follow-up he’s released the beautiful “Stjärnfall” (“Starfall”) in the beginning of this year, a song about a child’s wish for eternal life.
