Tyred Eyes – “Ghost”

Tyred Eyes

Here’s a couple of tracks to taste Tyred Eyes’, hailing from Göteborg, latest EP “Ghost”. They deliver a melodic, garage-sounding rock’n’roll punk where the two singers give everything in every song; music that feels like it’s made for an emotionally charged and sweaty club gig. The band was formed in 2009 and has earlier released an EP and an album.

Signs – “Not a Sound”

Signs

Signs from Göteborg released their debut EP, “Not a Sound”, last year. Alternative rock with a stroke of american radio rock is some kind of starting point for their music. The sound is grand and gives them a place on the arena rather than in the club and overall I get a bright and positive vibe from the ambience in the songs. Listen to the starting track from the EP, “Sticks and Stones”, here below.

The Crystal Caravan – “With Them You Walk Alone”

The Crystal Caravan

On their third record The Crysal Caravan have hammered out their own version of hard rock inspired by the early seventies. It’s easy to find plenty of references to the legendary bands of those days as well as a large dose of psychadelia and jam band vibes on this 6 track strong, excellent album.

Feather Revs – “In Prism”

Feather Revs

Feather Revs released their debut EP “In Prism” last year, and seem to be working on their first full length album right now. The music head out for the large spaces, full of reverb, delays and distant guitars. They certainly don’t get lost among all the bouncing sounds, but carefully delivers an airy and dreamy indie rock with focus more on the ambience than the melodies, which appears more like ornaments in their planetarium. Listen here below to one of their tracks.

Tennis Bafra – “Snail Is Slow/DNA Express”

Tennis Bafra

Tennis Bafra, who last year released the acclaimed debut album “Abulia Jubilee”, continued this year with two songs of nice and dirty indie rock on the single “Snail Is Slow/DNA Express”. Interestingly the first song was written already in the nineties while the second one is a new composition. Rumour has it that that they are working on a new album right now.
