Rebstar finally released his awaited debut-EP about a week ago. It’s called “You Know Nothing About Love” and contains 6 tracks produced by the trio Saint, Madison and DJ Pain 1. His tone of voice has varied quite a bit on the earlier singles, but here he is signalling with a foghorn at the very start in the first track that he means business. This is far away from the joyful playfulness and pop-hooks in “Thing About You”, and he feels serious, direct and personal. The productions are great and varied to each track, and Saint impresses me again with his minimalistic style in the new track “All I Know”. Simply a brilliant debut EP with a lot of food for thought.
