Albin Johansson’s and his PAL are back with a new single, “Alone”. Furthermore, they are announcing the new album “Since”, to be released in March. And I certainly recognize PAL’s beautiful, humble and melancholic ambience, even though the sound has been upgraded since the last album in 2011. A most welcome return.

Right now The Mary Onettes are on tour in the US and to celebrate this they have uploaded the new track “Sharkbrains”. They write that the song will never get an official release, so take the opportunity to download it while you can.

Last year Raindear released her debut EP “The Game”. Now she’s back with the single “Veins”, released two days ago. It’s a great piece of electro pop infused with her characteristic vibe. She has a way of playing with melodies and scales, both in the vocals and in the synth figures, which adds an oriental touch to the ambience. The song is accompanied by a remix made by WTNSS, creating an interesting contrast to the original.

The duo Woolfish take their time between the single releases. They produced a Christmas single in December, but apart from that the new song “The Valley” is the third single since 2013 from the duo. Last year we heard the beautiful, peaceful “Tune of Time“, but in “The Valley” they set up a high pace right from the start with an intense beat in this uplifting song. Listen here:
