New album with Basko Sthlm
Basko Sthlm, which I wrote about last autumn is releasing their first full length album. You can already now listen to the album and download it on Basko Sthlm’s site, but the actual CD is released the 9th of June. They celebrate this with a release party at Debaser, open for anyone to join.
It’s a really nice and varied album they present, partly with a new musical character, compared to what I wrote about earlier. The playfulness and the joyfullness is there, and so is the backbeat every now and then. The latino inspiration, though, is not so pronounced now; instead there are more of an indie-pop feeling and more space for ambience and thoughtfulness. Really nice.

Charlotte and Daniel form the duo Lionlove. They say about their music that it is a journey from the point when they started seeing each other and then became a pair, created a life together, and into the future. Somewhat maybe like composing the music of your life. And I think they do this very well. I feel just fine listening to their passionate, positive music.
