Broby Timme

Broby Timme

Broby Timme is the name of a new pop punk project from Örebro. It’s a one man band, but yet with an anonymous person behind, but who has revealed as much as that he has worked with bands like The Happy Hippo Family and Jonatan Lindner & Kapellet before. Three songs have been released bundled on an EP, and show us an energic indiepop with Hurula vibes and a few stains from Göteborg. Here’s one of the songs, “Hela världen är min”:

Bellaroush – “The Sun Goes Down” feat Promoe

December 11, 2014 at 5:05 pm

Bellaroush

The band Bellaroush, hailing from Göteborg, usually creating music with their own blend of hip hop, reggae and pop, has just released the new single “The Sun Goes Down”, featuring no less than Promoe. And it’s a great song they have created, maybe the best I’ve heard from them, with a dark, charged vibe and a lovely retro-patina over the sound. It certainly sets the expectation bar high for their debut album, which will be released in February. The video is made by Tildeh Hjelm.

Dödens dal – “Korsa jord, luft, is (vocal versions)”

December 10, 2014 at 1:34 pm

Dödens Dal

Yesterday Dödens Dal released a video to the wonderful alternative vocal song version “Måste det vara så?”, sung by Peter Morén (the name of the instrumental original song is “Över fältet, mot ljusen”). The song is taken from the album “Korsa jord, luft, is (vocal versions)”, which I’ve told you about before. It was released earlier this Autumn with seven new vocal versions of the duo’s instrumental tracks. Besides Peter Morén you can listen to Jenny Wilson, Fredrik Wallenberg, Billie Lindahl among others. I’ve added the finishing track with Fredrik Wallenberg here below.

Tobias Borelius – “Chistmas By Myself” (feat. Svante Lodén)

December 3, 2014 at 5:20 pm

Tobias Borelius - Svante Lodén

Tobias Borelius, whom we know primarily as singer and songwriter in Emerald Park but also as a solo artist, decided to contribute to our Christmas music with the new single “Christmas By Myself”. The single consists of two songs where Tobias gets help from Svante Lodén (Damn!) and his souly voice on the Lennon/McCartney-inspired title track, while he grabs the michrophone himself on the synthpop-sounding “Tomorrow’s Christmas”. Mats Bengtsson (Wilmer X) on piano and David Carlsson (Mopeds) on bass have also taken part in the recordings.
