If you’re looking for a soundtrack to upcoming summerdays with sunny daydreaming, slowly passing clouds and swallows playing in the dusk, the new single “Outro (Entry Code, Dial Tone)” from the Gothenburg duo Heart/Dancer could be an alternative. It’s a bright, dreamy and melodic electropop tune with a charming indie vibe, where both members, Linnéa Atieno and Joakim Buddee, add their vocals to the song melody.

It’s easy to be impressed by Johan Angergård’s creativity. Acid HouseKings, Club 8, Eternal Death, Pallers and now a new album coming up with The Legends, his solo project. The new album is called “It’s Love” and will be released on the 30th of June. Here’s a first taste in the shape of the single “Keep Him”, a warm electropop song which feels intimate and naked and where the light guitars bring a summer vibe to the track.

Today I’m going to recommend a listen to the duo White Birches’ new album “Dark Waters”. I have written about them before, and I think that they are one of the most interesting electropop bands who have come forward lately. The album certainly lives up to my expectations and adds more building blocks to the duo’s dark electropop, and I have added a couple tracks here below for you to taste.

The band Kataokas, which I wrote about a couple of weeks ago, have released their album “Anthesis” now. It’s a great record in the same folkpop spirit we heard before. Here’s plenty of summer vibes, energy and sing-a-long melodies, but also some slower tunes turning it into a dynamic and varied album. Here are a couple of songs to taste.
