Skimret is a solo project directed by Aleksandar Buntic. In Spring he released the debut EP with the same name; a 6 track long personal blend of electronica, pop and other influences, into something he calls dreamy synth pop. Each song is named after an important person in his life, exept the starting track “Längtan”, (“Longing”). And longing is a good word to start with when I try to describe the album, together with romantic, in a darkly shimmering, dreamy sense on this quite varied album.
