“Falla Tryggt” is the name of the band Lys‘ debut album, an album that the band’s been working on for three years. I think it’s very suitable that they release the album now in the beginning of the Autumn, considering the feeling I get from the music. It feels like walking around in a quiet Autumn forest where the leafs have just begun to shift their colour, kicking at some heaps of leafs, dreaming and looking back at things.

It’s warm, mellow and soft pop with folk and jazz vibes, where the singer  Erika Nordahl’s soft dialect sort of  smoothens the the songs and lets the melodies land nicely and safely.

“Falla Tryggt” will be released September 10th and is celebrated with a release party at Tivoli in Helsingborg. Listen to more songs on their Facebook page.
