Shallow Sense – “It’s a Lie That Time Can Heal”

Shallow SenseI wrote about Shallow Sense a couple of years ago, when they had released a new EP. Now they are on their way to release a new EP, “It’s a Lie That Time Can Heal”, and I find that a lot has happened with their music.

Well, they sound almost like a completely different band today, even if the final song on the EP, “Stay”, reminds me of the earlier songs. In the other tracks the guitars have left space for the electronica, the introverted for the extroverted and the focus is on strong pop melodies, which they do really well. If I placed them between Coldplay and The Killers last time, we can throw out Coldplay from the game this time and stay with The Killers.
