LCTRISC

Here’s a short post today with a clear electro pop theme.

Saigon House – “Into Your Arms Again”

Here’s the debut single from Saigon House. The band found their inspiration right in Saigon, and in the song you’ll hear recorded sounds from the city.

LCTRISC – “Gas and Cigarettes”

New single and video from LCTRISC aiming at their debut album “The Fire In the Distant Future”, to be released in May.

Leppen – “Sova”

Finally Leppen with the single “Sova” from the EP “iställetförattprata” (release April 28th). Behind Leppen you find Dan Lepp who earlier played the organ in Grand Tone Music.

Tikkle Me

Tikkle Me started out as a duo a few years ago by Frida Herchenröther and Karin Taberman, and blog followers with a good memory may remember Frida from the electro pop band Spectroscope, which we wrote about before. The last years the duo has expanded into a shifting collective, adding dancers, choirs and others, who on the live concerts interweaves dance, projections and art, which they describe as more of a performance art show than just a music concert.

The studio reordings have also grown, if I compare with their debut album from 2010, which you can hear on their recently released singles “Niagara” and “Time to Act”. Here they show a beautiful, powerful orchestral pop, which reminds me more than once of Kate Bush. These songs are produced by Niels Nielsen and the video to “Niagara” is directed by Johan F. Wahlberg.
