Brott och Straff, who last year appeared as a duo and gave us a new electropop single every month, is now a solo project run by the songwriter Kim Nilsson. Today the first single “Livet asså” is being released, a single which is also the first taste of the upcoming EP “Molnen över dig”. As you would expect, the sound has also changed, from a club based beat to a more pop-sounding vibe overall. The lyrics were written half an hour after the birth of Kim’s son and tell us about life as a roller coaster, which is reflected in the song in the darker verse and the the catchy, light chorus.

The electro pop duo Brott och Straff, whom I wrote about in the Autumn, are launching more songs. During 2013 they have the intention of releasing a new song on the 28th every month. Here’s the latest single, “247”, a song about the singer Kim Nilsson’s son Leo.

The electro pop duo Brott och Straff promised more songs during the Autumn last time I wrote about them. And they fulfill that promise with the new song “PMA”, where they in their own, almost electro punky way, hit on our puny welfare problems with their sledgehammer.
