Dolly Daggers
I get a lot of vibes from the eighties with Dolly Daggers. They have created their own mix of new wave, glam, electro and everything else you want to put in there, a mix that’s hard to neglect. And then the songs! A great feeling for melodies with grand choruses that make it all the way through. With guitar and synth hooks, a good drive and a nice cool attitude, you get a concept that feels solid and songs that I want to hear over and over again.

Twiggy Frostbite, taste that name. I don’t know where it comes from or what it means exactly, but I do think it feels perfect for their music. Like sparkling icicles in a starlit winter night. It’s exciting and a little mysterious with cool melodies that squiggles through a fantastic sound space. The misty voice of Elin Lindfors is the magic wand that turns this into something really special.
Obliq is an exciting band from Göteborg, and it’s rather hard to compare them directly with other bands. If I would try to describe them somehow I would say that it’s the melancholy from
