Lashing Patsy

Lashing Patsy feels like party for me. Energy, excitement, happy music and happy people. A little bit of glam but more spontaneity and playfulness. Even if I sometimes hear Indie pop in their music, it’s mostly the seventies I think about when I listen to Lashing Patsy. Blondie, some Roxy Music, a bit of glam rock and a bit of new wave and lot of good pop melodies. It’s also nice with two singers, Anna Rosander and Johan Hammarsten, whose interplay and collaboration give the band more character.

Last spring they released their debut album, “Nightclub Trophies”, produced by Jens Anderson (9Voltstudio, The Ark). Here below you’ll find two tracks from the album:
